Where can I find Metalsmiths Accessories?

Metalsmiths Accessories is located in more than 40 locations across Canada including stores in B.C. Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario. Please go to our Store Locator to find a location near you.

What is your exchange policy for jewelry, watches and other accessories?

If you're not madly in love with your purchase you can exchange it within 14 days of purchase at any one of our stores across Canada. Just have your receipt handy and we will exchange the item or issue a store credit.

Do you guarantee your workmanship?

We combine the finest raw materials and master craftsmanship to bring you exquisite pieces of jewelry free from defects. On the off chance you should come across a defect, we'll gladly repair it. If your jewelry can't be fixed, we'll replace it - with a smile.

Our guarantee does not cover loss or damage due to bending, tarnishing, stretching, scratches, cracked ring shanks, broken or cracked stones or missing stones due to ring damage. Damaged items not covered by our guarantee can be repaired for an additional charge, however.

How should I care for my sterling silver jewelry?

Keeping your jewelry gleaming for years is easy. At the end of the day simply wipe your jewelry with our special silver polishing cloth. This cloth is treated with an anti-tarnish agent that cleans and polishes without damaging the metal or stones. Never place your jewelry in a liquid silver dip or rinse!

Over time silver will tarnish. That's just the nature of the metal and part of its beauty. Protecting your jewelry from things like chlorine (hot tubs, pools), bleach (cleaning products) and alcohol-based products (hairspray, shampoo, hand lotion, tanning creams) will significantly slow the tarnishing process.

What is your Watch Guarantee?

With proper care, your watch will keep time for you for a very long time. If you do find something wrong with your watch within 14 days of your purchase, simply bring it back with your receipt. After 14 days the manufacturer's warranty will apply. Information on the warranty is in the manufacturer's support booklet that came with your new watch.

Does OPTIX also offer a manufacturer's factory warranty?

Yes. The manufacturer's factory warranty applies to your new OPTIX purchase, when accompanied with your original receipt. Warranties don't cover cracked, broke or scratched lenses, bent frames, damage from abnormal abuse, lack of care, accidents or normal wear and tear. All repairs will be handled by the manufacturer's authorized repair facility noted in your warranty booklet enclosed in your optical packaging. Replacement lenses are available at an additional cost (if available). The customer is responsible for all the shipping and handling requirements.

Do you guarantee your designer handbags and purses for longer than 14 days?

Yes. All Metalsmiths handbags are guaranteed for a full year and will be repaired at no charge as long as a receipt is supplied. After one year repairs can be completed for a nominal charge.

I recently had my naval pierced. How should I care for it?

Taking good care of your piercing makes good sense and is really simple. The main thing to remember is to keep the area clean and to disinfect your hands and your jewelry before inserting your jewelry. Remember to keep your first piece of body jewelry in for at least six months and to see the doctor if infection occurs.
